I wanted to do another "splashing" painting to refine my water painting skills, and adding dogs to it made it that much better! I am constantly working on simplifying my strokes and being more cognizant of each time I put brush to board, in the hopes the end result will be a much "cleaner" painting. I'm happy with the way this one turned out.
