Rise and Shine

I had a really hard time deciding what to title this painting. One of my first thoughts was, "Chicken, It's What's For Dinner". I kept cracking myself up with that one (yup, it's been one of THOSE days!!).  Then the idea of "Photo Bomb" came to me.  And then, "Cock-A-Doodle-Do".  I went with the boring title, as you can see.  It was super fun painting this colorful guy!

Catching Water Droplets

This was a really fun one to paint...except for the water droplets!  Who knew water could be so difficult!  I was probably just over thinking it, as usual. Enjoy!

Be Mine

My intentions were to paint this for Valentine's Day, but, life got in the way!  When I saw the photo I used as a reference on Unsplash for this, I knew I had to paint it.  That sweet face! Love, love, love!

These are two paintings I did for a client.  They were an absolute joy to paint! I love dog people!

The Open Road

I've been looking forward to working on this painting for a while.  Between commission work and settling my dad's estate, I haven't had much time to paint what I want.  I used a photo from Unsplash royalty free pictures as a reference. I really like the reflection of this adorable dog on the car and the way his ear is blowing in the wind. Enjoy!

I'm in a tropical state of mind today.  I love these serene creatures! Thanks to Unsplash for the photo I used as a reference here.
