Not all isolation is bad, right?!  It's raining here today so I wanted to paint something that helped me feel the sun.  I truly hope all of you are doing okay. I hope you all are blessed with good health and peace!!

I just finished this sweet painting today.  I've been doing quite a few commissioned pieces lately.  Usually I can't post them until the surprise has happened, but the owner of this sweet Beagle is not on social media, so I should be safe!

This was my first attempt at "Kailua Beach Beagle" that I started and gave up on a while back.  I decided to paint over the parts I wasn't happy with (love acrylic paint!!) and I'm so happy I did.  Enjoy!

This is a painting that I had started on another board a while back and gave up on.  I decided to give it another shot and am happy with the results.  I like the way the white wash turned out.  I tried to give some depth to it, which is what made me stumble before.  

As Spring approaches, and the sun shows itself a little more, it's got me in the mood for summer! I'm ready for some Kailua Beach time myself!
